Welcome to SparrowStash! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SparrowStash website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, clicking "I Agree," or otherwise using the Service, you signify your acceptance of these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Account Registration and Use

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify SparrowStash of any unauthorized use of your password or account.

2.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including, but not limited to:

• Uploading or transmitting harmful code, viruses, or destructive files.
• Interfering with the security features of the Service.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, data, or user accounts.

3. Financial Advice Disclaimer

3.1 AI Advisor Limitations

The financial advice generated by the SparrowStash AI Advisor (powered by Nuclia RAG) is based on general principles and a knowledge base. It is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional financial, legal, or tax advice.

3.2 Professional Guidance

You should consult with a qualified financial professional before making any financial decisions based on information received from the Service. SparrowStash is not a financial planner, broker, or tax advisor.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 SparrowStash Content

All content, features, and functionality on the Service, including the name "SparrowStash," the logo, KendoReact UI designs, and our software code, are the exclusive property of SparrowStash and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

4.2 User Data

You retain ownership of the financial data and content you submit to the Service ("User Data"). By submitting User Data, you grant SparrowStash a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service (e.g., generating your charts and calculations).

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SparrowStash, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where SparrowStash is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
